Your CaneID is your unique identifier within University systems, and you will use your CaneID for a variety of reasons. Upon acceptance at the University, you'll receive your CaneID information via email. Visit caneid.miami.edu if you need to change your password.
You can use the Microsoft Authenticator mobile app (available via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store) to authenticate with your credentials.
To log in to University of Miami email, visit email.miami.edu. Keep in mind: Gmail is the email solution for the majority of UM students, while Outlook is the email solution for medical students in M.D. programs.
Blackboard Learn Ultra is the course management system used by University of Miami faculty, staff, teaching assistants, and students.
CaneLink is the University's Student Information System (SIS). Students, faculty, and staff use CaneLink to search for classes; view course schedule, class rosters, and advisees; and much more.
Use Zoom to meet using video, voice, and screen-sharing with peers across the campus or around the world. With Zoom, participants can attend via phone, computer, mobile device, or video conferencing.
Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) gives you access to Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver, Muse, Lightroom, and Acrobat Pro.
Office 365 (O365) includes all of the essential Office programs, including Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Word, and more.
Access and share files from any device! UM's collaboration and cloud-storage solutions give you unlimited space to securely back up your data online.
UPrint is the wireless and networked printing solution for students at the University of Miami. It is a user-friendly application based on the "Green U" initiative, and encourages responsible printing and copying.
Wi-Fi calling enhances cellular service on campus so you can make calls via a Wi-Fi network instead of using your carrier's network connection. Wi-Fi calling is a great option if you're in an area with a weak carrier signal because it enhances your call quality by using your phones internet connection to make calls.
