Install Microsoft 365 Apps

Create, collaborate, and connect with Microsoft 365. Access the latest versions of popular Microsoft apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with collaboration tools such as Teams and cloud storage through OneDrive. Download the apps to your desktop or mobile device and enjoy a seamless experience whether you're on campus, at home, or on the go.

University of Miami faculty, staff, and students are allowed up to five desktop, five tablet, and five mobile device downloads.

To get started, visit the Microsoft 365 Apps Portal (m365.cloud.microsoft/apps). If prompted, enter your University of Miami (UM) Login ID (e.g., sebastian@miami.edu), and click "Next." You will be redirected to UM's sign-in page where you will enter your password and verify your login with multi-factor authentication (MFA).

  • Step #1: Once logged in, click the "Install apps" button on the top-right of the page. Then, select "Microsoft 365 apps."

  • Step #2: Under "Office apps & devices," select "Install Office."
