Rapid Application Development

The Rapid Application Development (RAD) team partners with University stakeholders to develop, prototype, gather feedback, and test digital solutions following an Agile framework.

The Agile practice allows the team to implement enterprise-level, user-centric business application solutions focusing on efficiency, ease of use, reliability, security, and scalability. Intake and Project Management teams oversee the operational and strategic project/initiative demands, while managing team capacity and leveraging UMIT's governance process.

Constituent Relationship Management and Marketing Automation Technologies

  • Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Automation Technologies leverages Salesforce technology and related products to create comprehensive solutions that align UM's processes, strategic priorities, and product mix. The platform is used as a system of engagement for students, employees, and external constituents as well as case management activities at 'Canes Central and other University administrative offices. Additionally, strategic solutions are developed on Salesforce to meet specific needs of the University.

Content Services Platforms

  • Formerly known as Enterprise Content Management (ECM), the Content Services Platforms (CSP) team supports the foundational capability for the management, storage, and access of content, including documents and images. Utilizing Hyland OnBase, a cloud-based application, content is made available to share amongst many applications, including the collection, scanning, sharing, indexing, and archiving of content. It is also used to store legacy content.

IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Business Management (ITBM) Platform

  • These tools help manage the consumption and delivery of IT services as well as the infrastructure that supports the University's IT services. ServiceNow, a cloud-based framework, provides tools to manage the lifecycle of IT services. This includes incident, problem, request, change request management, demand, and project management.

Ancillary Applications

  • Implementation, administration, and maintenance of enterprise applications that support business operations for the University. This includes applications such as CSGold, TouchNet, and more.
