The office of Digital Transformation and Data Solutions leverages technologies to create or enhance business processes and customer experiences to meet the University's mission of transforming lives through education, research, innovation, and service.

Our services and solutions minimize friction, increase interoperability of systems, enhance the user experience and promote innovation. We enable the University to focus on leveraging data insights for decision-making.

Integrated Solutions

  • The Integrated Solutions team manages the identity lifecycle of users providing them with secure access to the digital ecosystem of the University, email communication, system integrations, data manipulation and transformation that allow the sharing and extraction of meaningful information, the data warehouse, collaboration, 2nd/3rd tier support for enterprise cloud services (e.g., Office 365, Box, etc.), database management, and office productivity applications such as Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Rapid Application Development

  • The Rapid Application Development (RAD) team partners with University stakeholders to develop, prototype, gather feedback, and test digital solutions following an Agile framework. The Agile practice allows the team to implement enterprise-level, user-centric business application solutions focusing on efficiency, ease of use, reliability, security, and scalability. Intake and Project Management teams oversee the operational and strategic project/initiative demands, while managing team capacity and leveraging UMIT's governance process.
