Timeline

  • Phase 1 – Discover:
    • Collect all content requirements (for student and HCM complete September 2018, for financial systems complete November 2018)
  • Phase 2 – Design:
    • Create content for retention/storage (complete December 2018)
  • Phase 3 – Test:
    • Ensure content meets requirements (complete February 2019)
  • Phase 4 – Deploy:
    • Make content available for use (begin March 2019)
  • Phase 5 – Evaluate:
    • Review and adjust (begin April 2019)
  • Phase 6 – Retire:
    • Close entire legacy environment (complete May 2019)

Milestones

  • September 30, 2018 –
    • All student and HCM content requirements must be submitted by central office/data custodians
  • November 15, 2018 –
    • All financial content requirements must be submitted by central office/data custodians
  • December 31, 2018 –
    • All content formats are designed and stored for testing
  • February 28, 2019 –
    • Testing complete
  • March 1, 2019 –
    • All stored content available for access
  • March 29, 2019 –
    • All remaining mainframe user credentials are deactivated (except select central office staff)
  • March 30, 2019 –
    • All remaining mainframe user credentials are deactivated
  • May 24, 2019 –
    • Mainframe fully decommissioned
