Archival Data Request Service (ADRS)

As previously communicated, access to the legacy mainframe system will be disabled on Saturday, March 30, 2019. In order to ensure that all day-to-day processes run smoothly, including year-end closing, we have created a new Archival Data Request Service (ADRS), which will provide access to archival data hosted in the mainframe, upon request.

Our goal is to ensure that access to archival data is completed as quickly and securely as possible. After mainframe access is disabled, you'll be able to easily request archival data via ADRS.

How to Request Reports with Archival Data:

If you require access to archival data in the mainframe, you'll be able to fill out the ADRS report request form* in UService (the University's IT service management system). Once the request is approved by the managing department(s) (employee data - HR, financial data - Controller's Office), you will receive the requested report. (The report request form link will be shared with you as soon as it is available.)

  • Please visit the UService portal at:
  • Select "Order Items & Services"
  • Under the ADRS title, select "Archived Data Request"
    • Note: you will need to log in with your CaneID and password to submit the form via UService.
