Point Solutions

Two Point Solutions teams are tasked with support of the University’s mission. The Point Solutions Support (PSS) team provides communication and 2nd and 3rd tier support for enterprise cloud services, on-premise server applications like Exchange, SharePoint, Box, LISTSERV, as well as desktop applications such as the Adobe Suite, MS Office, PowerTerm, and more. Beyond support and communications, PSS offers product and service consultations assisting University members on choosing the right product/service to meet their needs and how to extract maximum value from the product and services they use. PSS maintains documentation, service catalog entries and news site articles for all its supported products and service. They are the primary Point Solutions contacts for University members.

The Point Solutions Administration group provides email and collaboration backend support for environments offered by UMIT to the University users, such as email, SharePoint, Yammer, PowerBI, Skype, voicemail, electronic email listings, privacy and protection, and data integration.
