The Listserv Web Interface (LWI) offers a web management interface to ListServ and serves as an alternative to managing a list using email to send commands.In addition, the LWI quickly reveals, for those new to ListServ, the depth of list management available.

The LWI for list management has a context-driven on-screen help system that is adjustable to the user's experience. Each page has a selectable 'Help For...' in the upper right corner. Look for this icon: 

The LWI is most useful when managing several lists or changing how a list functions (e.g., security, ownership, message distribution rules). If a list has archives, searching and reading them is made easy.

Changes to the function of a list should be well understood before being made. For example, changing a list?s security from, requiring confirmation before a message is sent, to no confirmation required, will make a list vulnerable to spam.
