Hewlett Packard

Hewlett Packard and the University of Miami have entered into two educational programs, the Campus Software License Grant (CSLG) and the Educational Software Library (ESL).

The server systems from HP is one of the many resources we have in Information Technology.

These programs enable users the access and capability necessary to students at the university by using educational discounts. By implementing these programs, the university is encouraging computer usage within the community, and therefore driving costs down further.

Redhat Linux

The University of Miami has acquired a site license for Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). This site will help you get familiar with this product and what you need to do to access RHEL. We will cover access for the main University and other campuses.
